SELECTED STAFF RECEIVED CAPACITY ON WELL-MEANING REPORTAGE

As part of La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Assembly’s organisational policy to upgrade the writing skills of its staff for efficiency and effective delivery in their line of duty. Thirty-five selected staff made up twenty-two women and thirteen men were trained on minutes and report writing for two days.The training programme, which was in collaboration with the La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Assembly and Tachsol Consult Limited held on 25 and 26 August 2022 at the municipal assembly hall, La.

Mr Daniel Nkrumah, the municipal co-ordinating director urged the participants to take the training very serious to reflect in their call of duty. He stated that the training will improve their capabilities and that would enable them to serve the assembly when called to duty in their various capacities.

The Municipal Human Resource Head, Miss Christabel Naa Kai, answering to questions mentioned that the training was to improve the writing capacity of the participants in the areas of reportage and minutes writing. She said the training would provide them a deeper understanding of the issues and nuisance of the areas they fall short to change the impression that the assemblies perform poorly in minutes and reporting during DPAT assessment.
