Hon. Solomon Nikoi Kotey Call For Effective And Efficiency Administration To Expedite Revenue Achievement

Staff of La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Assembly (LaDMA) have been urged to work for the national development as the work of public servants and the elected officials are social contract. The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Nikoi Kotey made the call when he addressed the first quarter staff durbar at the forecourt of the assembly.

According to him, the durbar was not called to fulfil the requirement of performance but for the running of good administration. He said in other to influence people’s lives in the municipality, the assembly needs to move at a positive direction to achieve that goal. He said the assembly must continue to make efforts to rake in all unpaid revenue to develop the communities.

Hon. Nikoi called for the transformation of attitude towards work. He said the assembly would adopt a new strategy to improve revenue generation, as revenue is the vehicle for development. He also urged the environmental department to ensure that the assembly’s premises is free of filth.

The MCE announced that, management has planned to institute the best staff award for the year. On his part, the coordinating director Mr. Daniel Nkrumah, said the service enjoined the assembly to meet quarterly to access the performance of and interact with staff and get more information about what is happening in the office.
