\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMr. Victor Edzoryie Yeborwo is the Head of Procurement Unit. He joined the Local Government\nService in November 2012 as Assistant Procurement Officer, and rose to the Rank of Senior\nProcurement Officer in 2021.\nMr. Yeborwo received a B.A. (Hons) in French from the University of Cape Coast and a Master\nof Science in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from the same University. He also\nholds a Master of Business Administration (Marketing) from the Methodist University, Ghana and\na Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.\nMr. Yeborwo is also a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of Procurement and Supply Chain\nManagement at Accra Technical University.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

What we do<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>

The Procurement Unit of the La Dade Kotopon Municipal Assembly was established in 2012 as enacted by the Public Procurement Act to provide expertise and services in procurement and supply of goods, works and services for the Assembly.<\/p>

Mission<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/div>

The Procurement Unit exists to harmonize the procurement process of the assembly to secure a judicious, economic and efficient use of public funds to ensure that public procurement is done in a fair, transparent and non-discriminatory way while promoting competitive local industry.<\/div>

Vision<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Our vision is to be efficient, transparent, and accountable and professionally manage the assembly\u2019s procurement system. FUNCTIONS AS PER ACT 663<\/span><\/p>

  • Coordinate with the user departments in the preparation of specifications.<\/li>
  • Source for suppliers for goods and services required by the Assembly.<\/li>
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers.<\/li>
  • Coordinate the delivery of goods to the Assembly.<\/li>
  • Place Purchase Orders with selected suppliers and contractors.<\/li>
  • Address supplier complaints and find solutions to them.<\/li>
  • Manage contracts entered between the Assembly and its suppliers and contractors.<\/li>
  • Ensure proper record keeping of all procurement related transactions in accordance with the procurement procedures required in the public sector.<\/li>
  • Draft notices and other related tender documentations for the procurement of goods and services for the Assembly.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
