He\nvisited the Cantonments Divisional and District Head Quarters, Airport\nDivision, La Division, and the Police Head Quarters. The visit was to help the\nnew MCE formerly introduce himself and create an enabling partnership environment\nbetween the Assembly and the Police services to ensure peace, security and\nsanity among the citizenry in municipality. The visit also paved way for the\nMCE to submit a number of security threat issues observed to the security\nagency for an immediate action. Notable ones include the destruction of\nstudents at the La Anglican School, Rangoon, Yahoshua, and other basic schools\nby \u201cWee\u201d smokers, and other individuals who have adopted the schools for their\nplace of convenience. The devastating aspect of these invaders is when they\nflaunt their illicit acts during learning period. Such constant harassment\naccording to the MCE affects the learning process of both the students and\nteachers. He advised the security agency to constantly visit the various\nschools aside their normal daily patrol to help familiarize themselves with the\nstudents. He assured the Police of his support in ensuring that their\nresponsibilities are genuinely executed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\ngesture by MCE was lauded by the various Divisional Heads, describing him as a\nkind gentle leader who has the interest of the people under his jurisdiction at\nheart. They prayed the MCE to help provide them with motorbikes, and pick-ups,\nand fuel to run their daily routines. Other salient needs include befitting\nstaff quarters, and enough land space for their operations. Other concerns\nraised were the poor street lighting system in some part of the municipality\nthat has been a major worry to the inhabitants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/ladma.gov.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/DSC_0179-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"590\" data-link=\"https:\/\/ladma.gov.gh\/?attachment_id=590\" class=\"wp-image-590\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ladma.gov.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/DSC_0179-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/ladma.gov.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/DSC_0179-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ladma.gov.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/DSC_0179-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nMCE finally made a stop at the office of the Inspector General of Police James\nOppong Boanuh. There, he asked that the Police actively get involved in the\n\u201cCLEAN LA, GET INVOLVED\u201d a newly cleanup introduced exercise by the Assembly to\nhelp fight the influx of dirt that has engulfed some portion of the\nmunicipality. An award system according to the MCE will be introduced to be\ngiven to the best cleaned barracks in a healthy cleanup exercise competition\namong them.
