  • Licentiate Member (CIAMC): Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants-Ghana (2021 – 2022).
  • Master’s in Management and Administration (MA): University of Ghana Business School (2019 – 2020).
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Public Administration: Ghana Institute of Public Administration (2010).
  • Master’s in International Affairs: Legon Center for International Affairs and Diplomacy (2007 – 2008).
  • BA Political Science: University of Ghana (2001 – 2004).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Head of the Central Administration Department.
  • Organizes Municipal Security Meetings.
  • Manages protocol and international relations/cooperation.
  • Provides administrative and technical support to the Chief Executive, Coordinating Director, and other line directorates.
  • Supervises departmental activities and coordinates with stakeholders for organizational success.
  • Ensures active stakeholder participation in program identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Develops staff capabilities and skills.

What we do

Central Administration is established by the Legislative Instrument 1961.
The Department is the secretariat of the Municipal Assembly and it is responsible for the provision of support,services,effective and efficient general administration and organization of the Assembly.

The Unit also performs functions such as:

  • Assists in guiding the implementation of Government policies, programmes and projects
  • Assists in coordinating the activities of all the decentralized departments of the Assembly
  • Supporting the M.C.D in ensuring the day-to-day administration of the Assembly.
It also serves as a Desk Office for :
  • Marriage registration
  • Municipal HIV/AIDS Committee
  • Gender Mainstreaming
  • School Feeding Programme
  • Municipal Security Council
  • Arbitration and conflict resolution
