The Municipal Chief Executive for the La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Assembly Reverend Solomon Nikoi Kotey has revealed that students who exhibit an outstanding performance in the West Africa Examination Council exams will be awarded. Beneficiaries will also include teachers, and supervisors and the overall best school in the municipality. This scheme when introduced and fully implemented will motivate both students and teachers in their respective field. It will also enhance the competitive nature among students for a bragging right.
He made this known at a Senior High School Performance Appraisal Meeting held at the Labone Senior High School for to review past performance of students in their respective courses and subjects from the year 2017-2019.
In his remarks, he lauded the staffs of the school for their immense contributions towards academic excellence, and assured them of his support in enhancing the teaching and learning environments. The MCE advised the students to be discipline and see learning as their ultimate responsibility as students for a better future.
