Ladma statistics undertake administrative data for development

The La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Assembly (LaDMA) recently conducted an administrative data collection exercise aimed at gathering statistical information to aid in the development of the municipality. The exercise was led by the LaDMA Statistics Department and involved the collection of data on a range of administrative areas, including health, education, infrastructure, and revenue.

The exercise involved the use of modern data collection techniques, including the use of mobile applications and the integration of geographic information systems (GIS) technology. The data collected will be used to develop evidence-based policies and programs aimed at promoting development and improving the standard of living for residents of LaDMA.

Speaking about the exercise, the Head of the LaDMA Statistics Department, Mr. Richard Dede, noted that the data collected will be invaluable in guiding decision-making processes in the municipality. He further noted that the use of modern data collection techniques would help to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data collected.

The exercise was conducted over a period of two months and involved the participation of various stakeholders in the municipality, including community leaders, civil society organizations, and representatives of various government agencies. The exercise was deemed successful, with a high level of participation and engagement from stakeholders.

The data collected will be analyzed and synthesized to produce statistical reports that will be made available to the public and used to inform the development of policies and programs in the municipality. Overall, the exercise is expected to contribute significantly to the promotion of evidence-based decision-making and the development of the La Dade-Kotopon Municipality.
