REVENUE OFFICERS MEETING WITH MANAGEMENT

La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Assembly (LaDMA) recently held a meeting with its revenue collectors to discuss strategies for improving revenue collection in the municipality. The meeting, which was chaired by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Solomon Niikoi, was attended by revenue collectors from various departments of the assembly.

During the meeting, Hon. Niikoi emphasized the importance of revenue collection to the development of the municipality. He urged the revenue collectors to be more proactive in their duties and ensure that all revenue due to the assembly is collected promptly. He also reminded them of the need to be transparent and accountable in their collection and reporting of revenue.

The revenue collectors, on their part, expressed their readiness to work hard to achieve the assembly’s revenue targets. They also requested the assembly’s support in the form of logistics and training to enable them to perform their duties effectively.

The meeting ended with a resolution to improve collaboration and communication between the assembly and revenue collectors. The revenue collectors were also tasked to develop and implement innovative strategies for revenue collection in the municipality.
